1. About this policy
This policy explains what you may and may not source, store and ship through Sourship, and what happens if you break these rules. It forms part of the Sourship Terms of Service. Sourship is operated by sourship LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
You are responsible for checking that each product you sell is lawful to export from China and to import into, sell in and use in every country you ship to. Laws differ by country. A product allowed in one destination may be prohibited in another.

This list is not exhaustive. We may refuse any product at our discretion.
3. Products with shipping restrictions
We do ship many products that other services refuse, including lithium batteries and products containing them, magnets, powders, liquids, creams and cosmetics.
These are regulated in air transport. For us to ship them:
- you must tell us what the product contains when you source it, so it can be declared and packed correctly;
- the product must be shipped on a service that accepts it, which can be slower or cost more than our standard rate; and
- some destinations do not accept these categories at all. We will tell you when that applies.
If goods are delayed, refused, returned or seized because their contents were not declared to us correctly, or because the destination does not accept that category, the cost is yours and the shipment is not refunded.
Adult products are accepted case by case. Ask us before sourcing them, and check that they may lawfully be imported into your destination countries, as many restrict them. Sexually explicit media remains prohibited under section 2.
Perishable food and goods needing refrigeration are not accepted. Ask us before sourcing anything you are unsure about.
4. Counterfeit and infringing goods
The rule. Counterfeit and infringing goods are prohibited. By sourcing a product through Sourship, you warrant that it is genuine, or that you are authorised by the rights holder to sell it.
What our inspection does and does not do. We inspect products for visible condition and match to the supplier listing. We do not authenticate goods and cannot confirm that a branded product is genuine. Our inspection is never a statement that a product is authentic.
When we investigate. We act when we receive specific information that goods may be counterfeit or infringing, including:
- a complaint from a rights holder or their representative;
- a notice from customs that a shipment has been seized or detained for intellectual property reasons;
- a takedown, suspension or infringement notice from a marketplace such as Etsy or eBay;
- buyer complaints about authenticity reported to us or by you; or
- information found during inspection or account review.
What happens. We may:
- hold your affected orders and inventory;
- ask you for proof that the goods are genuine or authorised, such as supplier invoices, brand authorisation letters or distribution agreements;
- give you 7 days to respond;
- release the hold if the proof is satisfactory; or
- if it is not, refuse to ship the goods, remove them from your inventory under section 10 of the Terms of Service, and suspend or close your account.
Repeat problems. Accounts with repeated substantiated infringement complaints are closed.
No compensation. Goods seized, destroyed or refused because they are counterfeit, infringing, restricted or prohibited are not refunded or reshipped, and the shipping rate paid is not refunded.
Rights holders. If you own intellectual property rights and believe goods handled by Sourship infringe them, contact support@sourship.com with your details, the rights concerned, the products in question and a statement that the information is accurate. We investigate every complaint we receive.
5. Customs and declarations
You must give accurate product descriptions, values and customs information. You may not ask us to under-declare value, mislabel contents or describe goods as gifts. We will refuse such requests, and doing so repeatedly may result in your account being closed.
6. Sanctions
You may not use Sourship if you are subject to US sanctions, or ship to countries, regions or persons subject to comprehensive US sanctions. See section 14 of the Terms of Service.
7. Using the platform
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, test its security, scrape data beyond your own account, submit false information, share or resell your account, or use the Service to harass or abuse our staff.
8. Enforcement
Depending on what we find, we may: refuse a sourcing or fulfilment request; hold or refuse to ship goods; remove goods from storage under section 10 of the Terms of Service; suspend your account; close your account without refund; and report the matter to rights holders, marketplaces, payment providers or authorities where the law requires or permits it.
We aim to act proportionately. A first honest mistake is usually handled by a warning and a request to fix it. Deliberate breaches, dangerous goods and repeated infringement result in closure.
