1. Strictly Prohibited Items

• Illegal Substances: Narcotics, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and unverified supplements or medications.
• Weapons & Explosives: Firearms, ammunition, tactical weapons, pepper spray, fireworks, and explosive materials.
• Hazardous Materials: Corrosive chemicals, radioactive items, toxic substances, and highly flammable liquids or gases.
• Biological Matter: Live animals, plants, seeds, human or animal remains, and untreated agricultural products.
• Contraband: Any items explicitly banned from export by Chinese customs or banned from import by the destination country’s government.

2. Intellectual Property & Branded Goods

Sourship takes Intellectual Property (IP) compliance seriously. Sourcing or shipping counterfeit goods poses a massive risk to international logistics networks.

• Counterfeits & Replicas: We prohibit the sourcing of fake designer clothing, unauthorized replica electronics, and unauthorized merchandise of copyrighted characters (e.g., Disney, Marvel).
• Seller Liability: If you request Sourship to source branded or trademarked goods without providing verifiable proof of authorization/licensing, you assume all legal and financial liability. If the goods are seized by customs, Sourship will not issue a refund.
• Right of Refusal: Sourship admins reserve the right to cancel any sourcing request that we suspect infringes on third-party IP rights.

3. Import Certifications & Compliance

Sourship acts solely as a logistics and sourcing facilitator. Sourship is not responsible for knowing or verifying the specific import certification requirements (e.g., FDA approval, CE marks, children’s toy safety certificates) of your destination country. Customs seizures, fines, or delays due to a lack of proper safety certifications and labeling are the sole responsibility of the seller.

4. Restricted Items (Requires Approval)

Sourcing the following items may result in longer shipping times or higher freight costs. You must notify Sourship before attempting to bulk-source these products:

• Batteries & Electronics: Standalone lithium batteries, power banks, or items containing high-capacity batteries. These require dedicated dangerous goods (DG) flight routes.
• Liquids, Pastes & Powders: Cosmetics, skincare creams, perfumes, and gel-based products are often scrutinized by customs and require specialized shipping lines.
• Oversized & Overweight Items: Items exceeding standard dimensions or weight limits (e.g., large furniture, heavy machinery) cannot be shipped via our standard 5-10 day air routes and require custom freight quotes.
• Strong Magnets: Items with high magnetic fields can interfere with aviation equipment and must be specially packed and shielded.
• Sharp Objects: Kitchen knives or utility tools must be properly sheathed and declared clearly.
• Adult & Sensitive Products: Adult novelty items may face restrictions from certain payment gateways or shipping carriers. You must verify approval before purchasing.

5. Violations and Account Penalties

Attempting to bypass our system to ship prohibited or unapproved restricted items is a serious violation of our Terms of Service.

• Order Cancellation: Non-compliant orders will be canceled immediately. Sourcing credits used for these requests will not be refunded.
• Inventory Disposal: If prohibited items arrive at our warehouse disguised as standard goods, we reserve the right to dispose of them at the seller’s expense or surrender them to local authorities.
• Account Ban: Repeated or severe offenses (such as attempting to ship illegal drugs or dangerous weapons) will result in an immediate, permanent ban from the Sourship platform.
