At Sourship, we strive to provide fast, reliable, and transparent fulfillment services for your e-commerce business. This Shipping & Fulfillment Policy outlines our timelines, carrier partnerships, and operational procedures.
By using Sourship to source, store, and ship your products, you agree to the fulfillment terms detailed below.
1. Order Processing Times
The time it takes to process and ship an order depends on whether the inventory is already stored in our warehouse or needs to be sourced from a supplier (dropshipping):
- In-Stock Inventory: If your products are already stored in the Sourship warehouse, orders are processed and shipped the same day or next business day.
- Dropshipping (Source After Sale): If you are sourcing products after a sale is made, the processing time includes the time it takes for the Chinese supplier to deliver the goods to our warehouse. Once received and visually inspected, we ship the order immediately.
2. Shipping Carriers and Delivery Times
Sourship partners with trusted international carriers, including YunExpress and Yanwen, to ensure rapid global delivery. Standard international delivery times are typically:
- Global Standard Delivery: 5 to 10 business days to most major international destinations (e.g., US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia).
- Tracking Information: Real-time tracking numbers are generated and provided within your Sourship dashboard, allowing both you and your end-customers to monitor the package from our warehouse to final delivery.
3. Quality Inspection and Repackaging
Before any item is shipped internationally, the Sourship team performs a standard visual quality control check. This includes:
- Verifying that the correct product, color, and size were received from the factory.
- Checking for obvious visible damage or major defects.
- Repackaging items securely to prevent damage during long-haul international transit.
Please Note: We do not perform in-depth technical testing (e.g., testing the battery life of electronics or washing garments to test dye fastness).
4. Failed Deliveries and Incorrect Addresses
Sourship generates shipping labels exactly as the data is entered into our system. It is the Seller’s responsibility to ensure the end-customer’s name, address, phone number, and country are correct.
- Sourship is not responsible for delayed, lost, or returned packages resulting from incomplete or inaccurate addresses provided by the Seller.
- If a package is returned to the local carrier facility due to a failed delivery attempt or wrong address, any reshipment fees will be the responsibility of the Seller.
5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
While we use reliable shipping partners, international logistics can occasionally experience disruptions. Our policy is as follows:
- Operational Errors: If Sourship makes a confirmed error (e.g., shipping the wrong item, applying the wrong label), we will work to correct it via an appropriate refund or reshipment.
- Carrier Delays & Losses: Sourship does not control customs holds, carrier delays, or packages lost in transit by the shipping company. We will provide necessary documentation to help you open a dispute with the carrier, but Sourship does not cover the cost of lost goods.
- Stolen Packages: If a package is marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but the customer claims they did not receive it, Sourship is not liable.
6. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
Depending on the destination country and the value of the goods, international shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country.
- Unless explicitly agreed upon and configured in your dashboard (e.g., using DDP – Delivered Duty Paid shipping methods), the end-customer or Seller is responsible for paying any applicable customs fees.
- Sourship is not responsible for packages held or destroyed by local customs authorities due to non-payment of duties or import restrictions on specific product categories.
